Most patients feel a mild tapping sensation on their scalp during treatment. Some experience a mild headache in the first few sessions, which resolves quickly. The vast majority of patients complete their full treatment course comfortably.
Many patients begin noticing improvements around sessions 10–20. Full results are typically seen within 2 weeks, and improvement often continues for weeks after treatment ends.
TMS is especially well-suited for those who have not responded to antidepressants or prefer a non-medication approach. You may not be eligible if you have metal implants in or near your head, a seizure history in the past year, or active psychosis. A consultation will determine your candidacy.
